The Youngstown Free Library Board of Trustees meets on the last
Monday of the month, with the following exceptions: in May, the
Board meets on the third Monday of the month, and the Board has no
meeting in December.
The meetings take place at 7 PM in the Library Meeting Room on the second floor of the Red Brick Building. The public is always welcome to attend (Meetings alternate between business and work meetings.).
The Annual Meeting of the Trustees is held in January of every year at 6:30 PM, prior to a regular business meeting. The current Board comprises eleven volunteer members and the term of a Board Member is three years.
Currently, the May meeting is being scheduled as a live meeting at the First Presbyterian Church.
This is YOUR Youngstown Free Library. We encourage everyone
to attend meetings to ask questions, learn more about its
governance, and more. Only when the Board votes to go into
executive session will all visitors and the Library Director
be asked to leave the room.
